What is it?! Giveaways!

I've been busy, busy, busy! And what have I been busy doing?! Why working on 3D fun for my Silhouette friends! I have a little preview of a piece of one of the designs I've been working on. You are either going to get it right away or have no clue, I think. This one might be very tricky to guess. So here it is...

So, I did end up catching what my kiddos had of coarse. But I'm back. And back with your promised freebee from Facebook! Too many flourishes? Nah! You can never have too many flourishes. Lets talk stitches and free GSDs!

Alright, so I've been working on the lowercase for the stitching templates, and along the way, I realized it would really nice if I provided you with an outline of the stitching template as an option too. Here's an example of the lowercase "p" that I stitched up with two different colors:

The capitals do not have this in the files you buy from store. So here are the links to the GSD files of the outlines for FREE. They should fit around your stitching templates.

Speaking of stitching templates, I would love some feedback on them. Here are a few questions I have for you:

1. Do you think the holes are too large, too small or just right in comparison to the design?

2. Do you think I've placed the holes too close, too far apart, or just right?

3. When creating the templates around curves, the holes must be somewhat close, otherwise the design turns out very choppy. Do think the straights on these designs should follow the same spacing as the curves or be further apart?

I'm always trying to improve my designs, so I look forward to hearing your opinion! Also, some really fun designs to come this week. Stay tuned!

School Days

I can say that some of my fondest memories happened in college. Of coarse meeting my wonderful husband was one of them. There were the crazy days in the dorms, football games, late nights (VERY late nights), good and bad roommates, papers, tests, and the numerous social events that happen. As everyone gears up to go back to school or are already in school, I'm jelous. I have many people tell me I'm weird, but I just have this thirst of knowledge. I'll get back to taking classes once the kids are in school in a few years, but for now, I'll just reminise.
I'm going to try to give you a freebee every two weeks. Todays is a pack of 4 college related phrases:

Also, if you haven't seen them, I've also designed a set of collegiate letters. They are sold in sets of 5 letters (except for set F thru K, which is 6 letters.) and are created from two layers. Collect them all!
