"Z" end is here! I finished up the last letters a few days ago and of course as luck would have it they weren't posted on silhouette. So I've been working on a little project for a little while to help many of you non-silhouette people out. And figuring how to help all those disappointed by the end of the alphabet. A few long nights later and both ideas merged into one and voila!
I totally revamped Snapdragonsnippets.com and I've got all of the 3D letters as SVGs for sale. If there are other items from my blog or silhouette store that you want to request. Please let me know and I'll try to add them soon.
For all you Silhouette users who can't sleep because they are missing the last 6 letters to complete the entire alphabet. I have posted studio files of U, V, W, X, Y and of course Z! Finally you can have closure! It's only until Tuesday for the studio files so don't miss out.
If you were hoping to do some projects this weekend hopefully it's not too late.
Now I want to see what you create with them!
Thank you for the rest of the alphabet!! I have them all...so *NOW* I want to start creating!! Your examples are all so colorful and wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to redesign these.
Is there a tutorial on here for these that I am missing - I saw one for the other letter boxes, but not these? I'm hoping to make an "S" box to fill with candy for a friend's birthday, but I don't currently have a lot of paper to do trial and error with... Did you use mod podge or something to make it stiff?
ReplyDeleteI am working on a general tutorial for assembling the letters. I probably won't be ready for a little while. We are moving to this week and things are a little unorganized at the moment.
DeleteIf you are wanting to trial it before working with your good paper, I do all my trials with plain old print paper. I use a liquid glue for assembly. If using print paper, I usually scribble on one side so the pieces assemble correctly.
Mine are stiff because of the size of the letter and type of paper I used. I used a heavy solid cardstock for the main build of the letters and mostly Echo Park or LillyBee Designs papers for the accents. I also used a permanent liquid glue to attach the accents, but I love your question of mod podge. I may have to try that. My letters are about 4.5 inches tall when complete. If you have questions, please let me know.
Is the 'E' on Silhouette Online? I can't seem to find it!
