3D Tags -- with Julie

It's Christmas Eve, and this is Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers sharing with you today. If you're still wrapping gifts you may need a quick, but cute gift tag idea to finish the wrapping in a snap!
The Snapdragon Snippets Store has lots of tag ideas, but these appealed to me because I could make a few quickly.  Each would be unique, but the process would be the same.
I made 8 tags total:

Most paper is from Close To My Heart.  There is a little Echo Park Dots and Stripes, too.

I left them without ribbons or twine until I adhere them to packages or bags so I can match colors then.

The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

These 3D tags are available in the Snapdragon Snippets Store

I wish you and your a meaningful and blessed Christmas season!

Getting Ready for Christmas! with Julie

It's Julie today. I don't know about you, but this time of year I need lots of gift bags and boxes.  It seems every time I turn around, I'm needing a little gift for something.  I created these 2 gift boxes from Snapdragon Snippets for an upcoming get together with 2 good friends.  They'll be filled with their favorite sweets!

I used the Gingerbread Gable Box, found in the Snapdragon Snippets Store.  Instead of using the gingerbread man, I used snowflakes, found here and here.  You can also find these files in the Silhouette Design Store.
I cut the files out on my Silhouette Cameo using double sided card stock by Echo Park.  You can see how it is red on one side and blue on the other.  It's great for projects like this.

These boxes are in 2 pieces, so they are quite big.  They'll fit lots of sweets!

If you are looking for gift boxes, these are great ones! They are by Chaska Card Company.  Check them out!  Then, visit this blog each day for more great inspiration from this talented design team.

3D Cornucopia -- with Julie

Here it is, Wednesday, and the day before Thanksgiving here in the U.S.  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. I needed a centerpiece for the dinner table, and being crafty, I decided it was best to make it.  After all, why buy fruit when you can make it, right?
The cornucopia and everything in it is from Snapdragon Snippets.  I had such fun with this!

There's 3D apples, a 3D pear, and even a 3D pumpkin, all tucked inside a fancy cornucopia all found in the Silhouette Design StoreYou can also find this in the SVG Attic store here.
All papers for this project are from Close To My Heart.  The cornucopia is made out of Kraft and designer paper from the Path Finding paper pack. I cut everything out on my Silhouette Cameo.
Make sure to check out the new Snapdragon Snippets store for lots of fun projects.  Then, visit the blog each day for great inspiration from this talented design team.  And, check out the Snapdragon Snippets Facebook page, too, for even more inspiration, fun, and contests.
This Thanksgiving, I'm counting my blessings.  And you, are among them!

Give Thanks -- with Julie

Happy Wednesday, crafty friends!  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. It's time to switch to winter mode here in Wisconsin.  We are digging out from the first major winter storm of the season.  Everything is white and snowy outside, but inside, I have a Fall card to share today.  I used a beautiful Snapdragon Snippets card file to create this:

This is called the Oak Leaf Swag Card.  You can find it HERE in the Silhouette Design Store.  There are also many great Fall, Christmas, and Winter designs in the NEW Snapdragon Snippets Store.
I followed this design very closely, altering it only by stamping a sentiment on it. All card stock is from Close To My Heart.  The "Give Thanks" sentiment is from Joy's Life. This is from the All Fall Puns sentiment set.  I also added a few sequins from Bella Creationz.
There's a blog hop coming up this weekend! Join us for the fun!

I give thanks for you, my crafty friends, every day.  In this season of counting blessings, know that I count you as very important!
The 8 inches of snow, though.  I'm having a bit more trouble counting the blessing there.  I know!  One day closer to spring!

Orange, Black, Cats -- it must be Halloween!

Hello, crafty friends.  Julie here today from Muddy Paw & Inky Fingers. I'm on a quest to get at least 50 Halloween cards made for the nursing home residents where I work, so I knew I wanted to make some cards. Snapdragon Snippets has lots of great ones! Here's what I did....
This first card is the SDS Halloween Black Cat Rocker Card (Silhouette Online Store). It is also available as part of the JGW Bewitched Bootique kit at SVG AtticOR, you can look for this file in the BRAND NEW Snapdragon Snippets Store!
It was very fun to put together, with it's various layers to cut and assemble.  There is a tutorial here that can help also.

I also made two very easy cards -- 5 minutes from start to finish.  You gotta love that!

These cards are the SDS Candy Corn Card, found in the Silhouette Online Store.  They can also be found at SVG Attic as part of the Spooky Cards set.
Here's one more look at a Candy Corn card-- simple, but really cute!
Halloween is almost here.  I better get my craft on!

Happy Fall -- Shaker Card Style!

Hello, crafty friends! Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. I'm very excited to be posting today for Snapdragon Snippets. Great things are happening, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it all!
I've been enthralled with Jodie G Warner's files for quite some time now.  She recently released some WondErFul new canning jar files, and I want to make many things with them.  When I saw one of the Mason jar card files, I immediately thought - "shaker card"!  So, shaker card it is!

I used the Mason Jar Window Gift Card Box file found in the Silhouette Online Store (#65658) or the JGW Neighbor Gift Set at the SVG Attic Store.
Papers, feather stamps, and sentiment stamp are from Close To My Heart.  The Fall-colored sequins are from Bella Creationz.

Snapdragon Snippets files have a world of possibilities.  This is going to be a great adventure!
