Here are a few Graduation shapes available this week and last week in the Silhouette Online Store.

It's FREEBEE time!!! Aren't you excited?
Freebee for January! I asked what kind of design you would like this time. Answer: a flourish! You can never have too many flourishes, right?
I'm trying out a new "File Sharing" site. We'll see if this is less complicated and more user friendly than Metafile. Let me know if you have problems. (Click on the picture below to download file!)
Enjoy!

Be featured here! What can you do with this flourish?
So, I did end up catching what my kiddos had of coarse. But I'm back. And back with your promised freebee from Facebook! Too many flourishes? Nah! You can never have too many flourishes. Oh, the possibilities! Here's the flourish freebee, now let me see what you do with it! Upload your creations to the Daley Designs facebook page, and I'll feature one lucky entry here on the blog! Now a deadline...hmmm...you have a week from tomorrow. I'll randomly pick one lucky person next Friday (the 17th) to showcase their creation here! Now get busy my friends!

Stitching Template tutorial
To create a stitched design, you will need:
* your cardstock with the stitching template cut using your Silhouette
* a needle
* floss or thread
I previously, cut the "stitching templates - geometric border" design from my piece of cardstock. (stitching_templates_-_geometric_border_C00597_17986)
Step 1:
Figure out where you would like to start and push the needle from back to front.
Pull the thread through but keep hold of the tail.
Step 2:
Tape down or tie the end on the back so it doesn't pull through.
Step 3:
Now push the needle from front to back in the next hole. (Don't worry about any "hanging chads", they will just be pushed aside with the needle.)
Step 4:
Push the needle from back to front in the next hole.
Step 5:
Push the needle from front to back in the previous hole. (Hole you used in step 3)
Step 6:
Push needle from back to front in next empty hole.
Keep up this pattern of stitches until you have completed your stitching pattern.
And voila! You've created a little homemade touch to any card or LO!
Oh, and check out how Starlight Scrapper's 3D tree turned out here. While browsing through her blog, I also found some other really fun creations from the Silhouette. She does some great work. Gotta love Cali's chubby series, and I love Samantha's "2 layer swirly halloween batbat " that Starlight Scrapper has used. Keep up the awsome projects. I'm loving them!
Anyways, hope the tutorial helps get you excited for the possibilities of the stitching templates! If you've overlooked them, here's the ones that are available in the store now:

Here's the newest one. Basic straight stiches. Easy to use anywhere. I've included a variety of stitch lengths so you don't have to adjust the holes yourself. The work is done for you. To make it fit a shorter length, just ungroup and delete any holes you don't want.
Enjoy!

A little Spanish, Dutch and everything else
So I'm getting these posted a lot later than I had intended. My little girl turned one today so we've had a little celebrating going on. This little angel has really been with us an entire year, wow. Amazing how fast time can fly by you.
Okay, so here are two that will be available soon. First is a fun alphabet border, Second is one that I did back at Christmas time and some how it was never submitted. I had originally done it as a candy cane kind of design, but looking at it now, it looks a little like a barcode. Hope you enjoy these two!
So here are a few that you can purchase now.
I try to do a variety of everything so that everyone has at least one thing they like. Here are a few non-USA, non-english stuff, since Silhouette isn't just for those of us in the USA. I hope you enjoy them. I've enjoyed researching other countries and cultures as I've worked on these. I've been out of school for quite awhile now, but I sure do enjoy the research I do for my designs. Kind of funny how much I enjoy learning now that I don't "have" to do it. :)
Enjoy!
Don't forget to check back tomorrow! I'm hoping I will have my surprise ready for you! :)
