Photo: "Z" end is here! Just finishing up editing the thumbnail photos for the last of the 3D letters. The long awaited moment is here! I'll submit them tonight. If you don't see the rest of the 3D alphabet boxes in the store tomorrow, bug Silhouette to release them in the store.

Now I want to see what you create with them!

  2. Is there a tutorial on here for these that I am missing - I saw one for the other letter boxes, but not these? I'm hoping to make an "S" box to fill with candy for a friend's birthday, but I don't currently have a lot of paper to do trial and error with... Did you use mod podge or something to make it stiff?

    1. I am working on a general tutorial for assembling the letters. I probably won't be ready for a little while. We are moving to this week and things are a little unorganized at the moment.

If you are wanting to trial it before working with your good paper, I do all my trials with plain old print paper. I use a liquid glue for assembly. If using print paper, I usually scribble on one side so the pieces assemble correctly.

Mine are stiff because of the size of the letter and type of paper I used. I used a heavy solid cardstock for the main build of the letters and mostly Echo Park or LillyBee Designs papers for the accents. I also used a permanent liquid glue to attach the accents, but I love your question of mod podge. I may have to try that. My letters are about 4.5 inches tall when complete. If you have questions, please let me know.
