Autumn Cards

Well, we are little more than a week away from celebrating Thanksgiving!

Do you have someone special you'd like to send a greeting to?

Esther here with some fabulous cards just perfect for Thanksgiving, or any Autumn greeting.

First up is the most darling rocking card. I created this pilgrim hat with Design #69578  - pilgrim hat rocker a7 card.  Super duper easy and oh so cute!!

Second up is a pretty autumn tree. I used different sized Pop Dots to add layers to this card.

Third in line is a pretty autumn wreath. I love the leaves on this wreath, so lovely with the two cuts to make them two toned.

Last up is a fun card of raking leaves. Not always the funnest of chores, but makes an awfully darling card.

I hope this gives you some inspiration for creating some Fall cards!!!

I wish you a very blessed Thanksgiving Day!!!

3D Letter "B" Tutorial

Welcome to another one of our tutorials!
Today we have Debb guiding you on how to put together the letter 3D letter B box file #29350

Identify the pieces. The narrower pieces create the top.
(Note: the wider pieces create the bottom.)

It will be helpful to curl the pieces before they are glued together.

Begin with the narrower pieces. There will be two shorter pieces that will create the inside of the letter B.

Fold at the scored lines and fold the tabs to the outside.

Glue in place.

Attach the tabs on the straight piece to the long side of the B.

Again, it is helpful to slightly curl the pieces before attaching the tabs.

Attach the two curved pieces of the B.

Attach the top and bottom corners and ease the inside point into place, gluing the tabs to the underside of the B.

Attach the contrasting panels, again curling slightly before gluing them on.

The bottom part of the letter is constructed in the same manner, but the pieces are in reverse.

The completed Letter B.

All is quiet layered Christmas card with Shary

Hi Shary here again and today I'd like to show you a beautiful layered Christmas card.

This file has been designed by Crafty SVG Designs and is called "All is quiet". It's available from the Snapdragon Snippets store here. There is also a tutorial on how to make this which comes with the file when you buy it.
I've made quite a few of her designs and they are all gorgeous and cut beautifully. I think I'll have quite a display when I'm finished.
For this one  I have used plain white and blue card. I cut out all the pieces on my Cameo and then the fun began! I used a Wow diamond white embossing powder on the santa and his reindeer. It really sparkles. For the trees and ground I added some puffy snow which when heat embossed it really fluffs up well. The snowflakes are a die and they have been glittered with some cosmic shimmer glitter jewels.
The photo doesn't really do it justice but it really does sparkle and come to life when the light shines on it.
I hope you've enjoyed my inspirational project and it encourages you to try the files from the Snapdragon Snippets store.
