Witches High Top Shoe

Well, it is almost Halloween!!!

Do you have all your little goblins ready to go out trick or treating???

Esther here with my last Halloween project for the year. A darling Witches Boot which you can use for a decor piece, candy or treat holder, or a centerpiece.

This super cute boot is cut with design #67397 - witch’s high top shoe candy box décor by Snapdragon Snippets

This goes together super fast and really fairly easy!!

I cut the boot itself from green card stock, the heel from black card stock, the tongue and laces from patterned paper by Doodlebug and the pumpkin ruffle from orange vellum. The cute little bat is attached with wire that I curled around a pencil to give it the springy look.

So much fun, I think I'll make a couple more for my daughters!!!

Welcome. Today is my second post for the snap dragon snippet creative team. It's close to Halloween and thanksgiving will soon be here. I wanted to make something to use for both. This square pumpkin is perfect. If you would like to purchase and make one you can visit the new site at www.snapdragonsnippets.com and order 3-d box decoration 50381 . Super fun and easy to assemble . I added leaves and yarn for special extra touch (not included in the cut). The butterfly is also a die-cut of this collection.

For the decoration, I added a flower " Kaisercraft " Coral and two small blue flowers " Kaisercraft ".

To finish, I added a piece of ribbon " Organza cremates " (25 mm).

Here we are! I hope that my realization has you more and that it will inspire you.

Orange, Black, Cats -- it must be Halloween!

Hello, crafty friends.  Julie here today from Muddy Paw & Inky Fingers. I'm on a quest to get at least 50 Halloween cards made for the nursing home residents where I work, so I knew I wanted to make some cards. Snapdragon Snippets has lots of great ones! Here's what I did....
This first card is the SDS Halloween Black Cat Rocker Card (Silhouette Online Store). It is also available as part of the JGW Bewitched Bootique kit at SVG AtticOR, you can look for this file in the BRAND NEW Snapdragon Snippets Store!
It was very fun to put together, with it's various layers to cut and assemble.  There is a tutorial here that can help also.

I also made two very easy cards -- 5 minutes from start to finish.  You gotta love that!

These cards are the SDS Candy Corn Card, found in the Silhouette Online Store.  They can also be found at SVG Attic as part of the Spooky Cards set.
Here's one more look at a Candy Corn card-- simple, but really cute!
Halloween is almost here.  I better get my craft on!

Witch Fancy Shoe Shaped Large Card

Hi Shary here again and today I'd love to show you a project I made for a  Halloween card or invitation.

I've used file #77 , witch fancy shoe shaped large card.
http://www.snapdragonsnippets.com/store/product/86

It's a great way to jazz up a Halloween card or invitation to a party. The file is super easy and fun to dress up. I've used some bright Halloween colours including some lovely purple glitter embossing powder. The black lace and green twine add a special touch too.

I think your friends would be very impressed if you sent these out!!

Fall Flight!

Today I'm so excited to present my first project for Snapdragon Snippets! Hi, this is Debb and I  made this awesome Corsair fighter plane from the kit "Ready for Takeoff" found here. It's a wonderful, detailed airplane with a propeller that really moves! Can you just imagine "Pappy" Boyington or one of the Black Sheep Squadron taking a fall flight in one of these?

All of the details are perfect! You can find it in the Silhouette Store here, and a great construction tutorial to make it here.

Thanks for joining me today!

Happy Fall -- Shaker Card Style!

Hello, crafty friends! Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. I'm very excited to be posting today for Snapdragon Snippets. Great things are happening, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it all!
I've been enthralled with Jodie G Warner's files for quite some time now.  She recently released some WondErFul new canning jar files, and I want to make many things with them.  When I saw one of the Mason jar card files, I immediately thought - "shaker card"!  So, shaker card it is!

I used the Mason Jar Window Gift Card Box file found in the Silhouette Online Store (#65658) or the JGW Neighbor Gift Set at the SVG Attic Store.
Papers, feather stamps, and sentiment stamp are from Close To My Heart.  The Fall-colored sequins are from Bella Creationz.

Snapdragon Snippets files have a world of possibilities.  This is going to be a great adventure!

Ghostly Graveyard

Today I am sharing a project I created and put together for SVGAttic, Snapdragon Snippet's sister company.  The project utilizes cutting files you can find as of today on the Silhouette Online store, but within days you will be able to purchase on the soon to open SDS store, more on that later!

I had fun putting this set together making it colorful and not too scary (I don't do scary LOL)
Both boxes, the tombstone and the casket can be used to add candy or?  I did add the clear film of the tombstone but forgot to add the candy before I took my pictures and by the time I noticed I was running out of daylight...

Love the vellum that I used for the cute ghosts, it has sparkles in it.  A bit hard to tell in pictures.
I inked the boxes using distress black soot TH ink and a bit of Gesso.

Files used: as a kit at SVGAttic.com Ghostly Graveyard HERE or as individual files on the Silhouette online store.
Tombstone box #21333- Coffin box #21145- 3 Cartoon banners #26671- 3D Ghosts #13604- 3D Bat #12947- Spiderweb and Cupcake Wrapper Iron Fence #33781

3D Mason Jar with beet and pickle pods

Hi Shary here and this is my first post for Snapdragon Snippets.

It really is Autumn here in Scotland, the winds are blowing the leaves off the trees and it's wet!! So this turned my thoughts to all those people who love to preserve and pickle and I made a little mason jar with beet and pickle pods.

I've used the mason jar 3D short  replica jar with lid file #65656 and the beet and pickle mini pods file #65657

Such a fun project and it really does look like a real jar!

Here you can see the pickles inside the jar. I used acetate to make the clear windows.

There is an option to use fabric for the topper but I've used patterned paper for mine and tied it round with some twine.

There is a side label that comes with the kit which is "sweet harvest" but I've used a label to match my topper.

Jodi has a fantastic instructions on her blog Needles 'n' Knowledge giving you clear step by step instructions with photos.

I hope I've inspired you to make this fantastic project.

See you again soon :0)

What an honor!   I love creating with SDS files!
I’ve always been creative – I play many instruments, like to write, and have been crafty my whole life.  I began scrapbooking about 8 years ago and cardmaking about 4 years ago, but things really took off when I began my blog about 2 1/2 years ago.  It was a life changing experience.  I can’t believe how much fun I’ve had and how many friends I’ve made through my blog. I’d love it if you’d stop by for a visit:

I don't know if you noticed but Esther is here for her second term and Julie was part of SVGAttic's Creative Team. So happy to have you ladies! Welcome!

Hope you can join us tomorrow so you can meet our other three fabulous Creative Team members!
