"Playing" around with the royals...

Use these new royalty cards along with the Ace through 10 of each suit to create your custom deck of playing cards.

Just "Playing" around!

Thanks to whoever requested the rest of the playing cards. I had forgot that they weren't finished. Soon to come, the King, Queen, Jack and Joker to complete your playing card set! If you haven't seen the rest of them, here they are again.

Why not make your own set with your favorite picture on the back!
*There is a misprint in the store for the hearts set. It is titled "A-10" but like the rest of the sets, contains 5 cards: "A-5". I've tried to have them change it but it hasn't happened yet. Don't want anyone to be mislead.

Independence Day and Stars in stitches...

A few new stitching templates. Hopefully I'll have a demo for you soon! Until then, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or on my facebook page.

More to come soon. Stay tuned!

Stitch template preview on facebook

If you would like to see a preview of one of the new stitch templates and use facebook, go to http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=lf#!/photo.php?pid=4391303&id=63066863157 . I'll be posting more to come too! Don't forget to add your photos to the "fan photos"!

Facebook page set up!

So I've been trying to avoid setting a page up on Facebook, but I've realized that it is the best way to share pictures of what you have done and what I have done and to suggest ideas, etc. So I've set up a link to my Graphic Design page. You can click this link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lincoln-UT/Daley-Designs/63066863157?ajaxpipe=1&__a=4 (which is rather long) or click on the link in the right column to access the page. I would absolutely love to see what you have done or are doing with my designs! Suggestions are welcome also, and I will try to squeeze them in among the other designs already on the calendar.
See you on Facebook! (and here of coarse!)

And the surprise...Stitch some homemade feeling into your next card or layout!

So I guess the secret is out! Silhouette has already made available the new stitching templates. For those of you who haven't seen it, here is the test piece I did when I was designing them.

Your Silhouette machine or craft cutter "punches" holes (cuts circles) for you to then stitch thread, yarn or floss through. This makes adding a touch of homemade to any card or layout easy! No more punching paper, it's all done for you.
I used a yarn darner when testing this out because that's all I could find in my sewing box. It worked okay but would better with a smaller needle. Hopefully I'll have some more examples and actual demos to show you soon. Also, send me pics of things you do with these templates and I'll feature them here! Just send them to modaley2@msn.com. I'll also go set up a facebook page for you to add them to if that is easier. Hope you enjoy these! Many more designs to come soon!
Here is what you are looking for in the store if you would like to purchase it:

A little Spanish, Dutch and everything else

So I'm getting these posted a lot later than I had intended. My little girl turned one today so we've had a little celebrating going on. This little angel has really been with us an entire year, wow. Amazing how fast time can fly by you.

Okay, so here are two that will be available soon. First is a fun alphabet border, Second is one that I did back at Christmas time and some how it was never submitted. I had originally done it as a candy cane kind of design, but looking at it now, it looks a little like a barcode. Hope you enjoy these two!

So here are a few that you can purchase now.
I try to do a variety of everything so that everyone has at least one thing they like. Here are a few non-USA, non-english stuff, since Silhouette isn't just for those of us in the USA. I hope you enjoy them. I've enjoyed researching other countries and cultures as I've worked on these. I've been out of school for quite awhile now, but I sure do enjoy the research I do for my designs. Kind of funny how much I enjoy learning now that I don't "have" to do it. :)

Don't forget to check back tomorrow! I'm hoping I will have my surprise ready for you! :)

What's to come...

I'll be posting some of the recent designs and a few coming designs on here later today, so check back tonight. I also have a surprise that I've been working on to tell you about. You won't want to miss it!

A little bit of everything!

It's been awhile since I've posted anything I realize. Sorry for that. Our family recently visited made the wonderful 14 to 16 hour drive to Tucson, Arizona to see Grandma & Grandpa, and since then, it's been recovery time. Let me tell you, I do not want to travel that far with 3 little kiddos and being 7 months pregnant for quite awhile. It was great to see family though! Just wish we lived closer.

So since the last post, there have been quite a few new designs added to the store. Here they are plus a few that should hopefully be added soon!
